Unit Description

Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack in Wheeling, West Virginia, is a Delaware North-owned-and-operated regional gaming destination featuring 1,300 electronic gaming machines, 22 table games, live greyhound racing, and simulcast wagering. Wheeling Island also features a 151-room hotel, many dining options, and a 1,000-seat showroom.

Responsibilities

• Sell and cash guests’ wagers and answer guests’ questions

• Monitor funds and comply with cash-in-drawer requirements, as well as ensure the cash drawer is balanced

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old

• Capacity to participate in multi-day training and ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate state occupational license

Physical Requirements

• Capacity to stand or sit for the entire length of the shift and ability to see clearly with or without corrective lenses

• Manual dexterity in both hands to operate ticket equipment
