Job Description
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer Field Representative (SQFR) for the Dallas area to support the THAAD program.
The SQFR will solve complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions that provide the best product for our customers. In addition, the SQFR acts as an integrated member of the production teams developing and executing quality approach that results in Performance Excellence. Further, activities will require reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.
Responsibilities include:
Identify and close gaps in Quality Management Systems
Sub-tier Quality Management activities
Purchase Order (PO) and Statement of Requirements reviews
Review of Quality PO Notes and Material Masters
Special process assessments, Production Surveillance and qualifications
Review of Electrical, Electronic and Electro-mechanical (EEE) / Parts, Material and Process (PMP) unique requirements
Review of Planning / Work Instruction
Production Readiness Reviews
Technical Writing support
First Article Inspection preparation and training
Source Inspection activity
Material Review (MRB) activities
Supplier Corrective Action Reports
Supplier Quality Metrics
Basic Qualifications
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while executing leadership plans/vision
Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of Processes, and related Performance Metrics
Demonstrated ability to resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
Ability to work well and lead teams in an interdisciplinary environment
Ability to effectively manage and work with cross functional and geographically dispersed team
Excellent business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions
Effective communication skills: written, oral, listening and technical writing
Knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO), Aerospace (AS)
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
Desired skills
Technical degree required at the Bachelor's degree or above
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
Lean Six Sigma certification

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
